F SERIES Technology
ISOL-8 Proprietary Transmodal Filtration
ISOL-8 Axis DC Blocking
Electrical supplies often contain unwanted DC offset, which causes transformer cores within connected equipment to operate far away from their optimum conditions.
The ISOL-8 Axis circuit addresses this problem by blocking performance-degrading DC from reaching connected equipment, helping transformers operate more cleanly and quietly.
Transmodal Filtration
At the heart of the F Series is ISOL-8’s proprietary Transmodal filter technology.
Unlike conventional filters, Transmodal technology is designed to reduce both common-mode and differential-mode noise across an exceptionally broad frequency range, extending effective filtration down to extremely low frequencies.
Importantly, the high-current sections combine effective filtration with exceptionally low series resistance. This allows large instantaneous currents to pass freely to power amplifiers without the dynamic restriction or compression that can occur with conventional filtering.
Powerful filtration.
No compromise to dynamics.
Cross-Contamination Control
Electrical noise doesn't only come from outside the system.
Every connected component can generate its own electrical noise, which can travel through the supply cables and affect every other component. This interaction, we call cross-contamination, can have a significant impact on system performance. Yet another of the solutions we have pioneered.
Source and High-Current Filtration
The F Series separates the different demands of source components from those of amplifiers or power amplifiers.
The source-component section uses multi-stage Transmodal filtration and cross-contamination control to provide a highly filtered supply for sensitive equipment.
The dedicated high-current outlets use a very low-loss Transmodal topology, allowing power amplifiers and other demanding loads to draw substantial instantaneous current while retaining effective mains filtration.
Earth Noise Filtering
A custom-wound ISOL-8 choke provides additional filtering of unwanted noise present on the safety earth wiring, further reducing the opportunity for electrical interference to enter the system.
Surge Protection
Comprehensive surge protection provides an additional level of protection for connected equipment against potentially damaging electrical events.
