As with the Minisub and SubStation, the six surge and spike protected outlets are divided into two groups for high and low power loads respectively: Each group has its own dedicated AC input via 20A latching Neutrik connectors with individual breakers.
The twin inputs are centrally placed, keeping the filter groups separated and internal current paths as short as possible. By using individual feeds from two wall outlets, interaction between each filter group is minimised. The internal wiring layout is carefully optimised with each incoming unfiltered supply being screened from the filter sections, providing further performance gains. All outlets are star earthed, floating from chassis on acrylic panels.
The four source outlets are then individually filtered using custom chokes and copper foil inductors, ensuring each channel is effectively conditioned and isolated from another to achieve the maximum performance possible. Two have additional filters for display and digital source noise.
The two high current outlets, being fed by their dedicated inlet, have been engineered to provide exceedingly low series resistance. Huge bespoke air core copper foil inductors in the filter path ensure that low frequency performance is actually enhanced, not degraded as with many inferior conditioners.
